On October 27, 2009, the Missoula Cultural Council partnered with Humanities Montana to create a public forum on the subject of "The Arts and Civic Engagement." Ken Egan, the Executive Director of Humanities Montana, opened the discussion, and guest speakers included Raphael Chacon, Katie Knight and Amy Martin. The Executive Director of the Missoula Cultural Council, Tom Bensen, led the public discussion.
