Congratulations to a wonderful poet and teacher, Sheryl Noethe, just chosen as Montana's fourth Poet Laureate.  Sheryl will now be part of Humanities Montana's Speakers Bureau--folks can schedule her for readings and discussions around the state.  For more information on Sheryl and her work with the Missoula Writing Collaborative, see this inspiring article:

Congratulations Sheryl! And hats off to all Montana poets; the Governor had a deep well from which to draw....

FYI, you can read a few of Sheryl's poems at her website (recently developed, ahem, by yours truly): www.sherylnoethe.com.

Also, here's a short video by Mackenzie Enich called "Notes from a Poet and a One-Eyed Cat" about Sheryl and her work with the Missoula Writing Collaborative.
