The State of Montana and Humanities Montana lost a dear friend recently, Don Marble. Don served on the Board of (then) Montana Committee for the Humanities. He is remembered with deep fondness by staff and former Board members of this organization. As Alan Weltzien writes, "I'm just a bit sadder in the world, knowing [Don] was taken sooner than any of us should be. Don and I saw the world in many of the same ways, I think, and I admired him so for his environmentalism and his using his legal expertise accordingly. He was a good buddy on MCH the four years we served together. I'm sad."
