With partial funding from Humanities Montana, the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival will feature “Indigenous Visions,” documentary films focused on some of the most significant issues facing Native people.
The films, told from Native perspectives and others, explore the rich histories and modern lives of characters we rarely see in cinema and aid in bridging the gap between the prejudices of the past and open-minded resolution of the present and the future.
The film festival runs from February 12-21 in Missoula. For the list of documentaries included in “Indigenous Visions,” visit
