I just cheated and listened to the second episode of Reflections West (ego knows no bounds) an hour early on the web. Congratulations to Lisa Simon and David Moore--the show feels like a door is quietly opened, inviting me to step out into a new vista. Thanks for letting me be a contributor. I'm looking forward to next week's reflection.

Ditto Kim's and David's comments about "Reflections West"--what a delight. A new way of thinking about the West and the literature that has emerged here. I love that image of Kim with the violin nearly running into the defining mountain of her hometown. Beautiful stuff. And David, you make me want to read "Charging Elk" again. Good show!

Kim, I just love how articulate your reflection is! Compelling! & thanks for the good words on the show itself. What a wonderful thing to say about a door quietly opened, a new vista. . . . That about makes the entire project worthwhile right there, right now.
